I completed my master’s degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2015 and am currently completing my doctoral degree in school and applied child psychology. I am a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the Ontario Psychological Association.
I have worked with children and youth in various capacities for over 10 years. My professional experience includes assessment and intervention services for children and youth in a range of settings, including community mental health clinics, juvenile justice settings, school boards and private practices. This includes assessment and intervention services for behavioural and emotional regulation, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma symptoms, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and autism spectrum disorders.
In my clinical work, I strive to be strengths-based and person-centred to create a warm and safe space for children, youth and families. I value the individuality of each youth that I work with and love to incorporate creative and arts-based approaches to treatment. It is an honour to work with other passionate professionals at McKenzie Zayed who value resiliency, growth and a spirit of collaboration.
